From 16 to 24 April, the Head of the Department of Children's Infectious Diseases of Astana Medical University, MD, Professor D.A. Bayesheva visited Tashkent Medical Academy within the framework of academic mobility of teaching staff, where she conducted a course of lectures for students, interns, residents, master classes and training seminars on children's infectious diseases for practical doctors. Within the framework of the visit the issues on further strengthening of cooperation, organisation of joint educational programmes, professional development of the teaching staff, as well as issues of joint scientific work, further development of the direction "Pediatrics" were discussed.

According to the results of the visit, Director of Urgench branch R.Y.Ruzibayev awarded Dinagul Ayapbekovna the title of "Honorary Professor of Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy".

As a sign of respect and gratitude for the support and significant contribution to the development of co-operation between the universities, the Rector of Astana Medical University was given a letter of thanks.
