According to the academic mobility program at the Tashkent Medical Academy from 21/04/2024 to 26/04/2024, Professor of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, MD, Professor, Chief Infectious disease specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kosherova B.N., and Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases PhD Seidullayeva A.Zh.

 The lectures were given for students and doctors on topics of infectious diseases in children and adults (Influenza and SARS, meningococcal infection, bacterial meningitis, herpesvirus infections, cytomegalovirus infection, etc.).

The lectures and practical classes on interactive teaching methods in medical education were given to TMA faculty and conducted. RBL, simulation training using high-tech robot dummies, standardized patients, for the preparation of clinical scenarios. Modern methods of assessing students' knowledge with practical examples depending on the level of training were presented.  

All lectures and practical classes were held in an interactive form with feedback.

During the week, an active exchange of experience took place between teachers, issues of training future doctors in modern conditions, the main directions in medical education, the trinity of education, science and practice were discussed. Clinical training bases were visited – an infectious diseases hospital and a simulation center. Professor B.N.Kosherova made a presentation at the School Conference: "Complex and unresolved issues of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of acute respiratory viral infections, influenza, intestinal infections and hepatitis" with the report "THORI in pregnant women", and also took part in the round table meeting – "Complex and unresolved issues of diagnosis, treatment and prevention ARVI, influenza" in the discussion - an increase in vaccination coverage.   The visit was effective and fruitful for teaching staff and TMA students, issues of further cooperation within the framework of academic mobility between the AMU TMA were discussed.
