From April 22nd to 25th 2024, an international conference of myology takes place in Paris, France. Аssistant of the department Meruert Takhanova and resident doctors from the 2nd year of training in the Department of Neurology of the NpJSC "Astana Medical University" Marzhan Ensebayeva, Nazira Dyusembek, Balnur Zhumagaliyeva under the guidance of the head of the department, chief pediatric neurologist, PhD Altynshash Jaksybayeva, presented 6 poster presentations on the 3-year experience in managing patients with neuromuscular diseases in Kazakhstan.

The conference proved to be a significant moment for our scientific group. By presenting our poster presentations, we not only exchanged our results of therapy effectiveness for patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and spinal muscular atrophy with other scientists but also deepened our understanding of the topic through discussions and feedback. Attending the conference not only expanded our scientific knowledge but also helped strengthen our scientific connections.

International experts highly appreciated the work of the Expert Consultative Council on Neuromuscular Diseases, which for the third year in a row has been regularly discussing all cases of neuromuscular diseases in the Republic of Kazakhstan, emphasizing the importance and relevance of our work. This recognition encourages us to continue our work and contribute to the development of the study and treatment of this group of neurological diseases. At the conference, we also learned about the latest research and advancements in the field of myology. This allowed us to familiarize ourselves with new methods and approaches to studying neuromuscular pathology, as well as learn about cutting-edge technologies used in global scientific practice, which we hope will be used in Kazakhstan in the near future.
