Doctor of medical sciences, Professor, Honorary Professor of Astana Medical University, graduated from the Pediatric Faculty of the Almaty State Medical Institute in 1972. She started her career as a district pediatrician of the city Children's Hospital No. 6 in Almaty. In 1976, according to the competition, she was appointed a junior researcher at the Radiology laboratory of the A.N.Syzganov Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery, and in 1988-1993 she was a senior, leading employee and from 1993 to 1996 she was in charge of the radionuclide research laboratory of this institute. In 1984 she successfully defended her candidate's thesis, and in 1994 her doctoral dissertation on a complex of non-invasive studies in angiosurgery in two specialties:14.00.19 – Radiation medicine and 14.00.27 – Surgery.

In 1996, Husain Sh.K. was attracted to work in the State (later Higher) Attestation Committee (HAC) of the Republic of Kazakhstan Deputy Head (2001-2005), Head (2005-2008) of the Department of Chemical, Biological, Medical, Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences, member of the Board of the HAC. 

Along with her productive scientific activity, Husain Sh.K. was actively engaged in public activities, was a deputy of the XVIII and XIX convocations of the Leninsky District Council of People's Deputies of Almaty, was appointed executive secretary and member of the commissions for awarding State Prizes of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of science, technology and education, a member of the editorial board of medical journals. From 2008 to 2019, she worked as Secretary of the Board and Academic Secretary of JSC "Astana Medical University", from 2019 to 2021 – Executive Secretary of the Senate, and currently works as the head of the museum of NAO "Astana Medical University".
