On September 14, at the Kazakh Scientific Research Agrarian University named after Saken Seifullin, a debate was held among Astana students under the topic “The importance of public opinion regarding the construction of nuclear power plants.”

The purpose of the debate is to provide a platform for a constructive exchange of views aimed at holding a republican referendum on the construction of nuclear power plants in the country and increasing the civic activity of the country’s youth.

Students of our University Duisenbaev Temirlan, a 2nd year student, and Altybai Aruzhan, a 1st year student, took 2nd place in the above debates.
