Within the framework of cooperation on the International Project "Innovative water – soluble phytomaterial inhibitors for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease prevention", Evgeny Svirin, a researcher at the Institute of Molecular Biology of I.M.Sechenov Moscow Medical University, PhD, visited Astana Medical University.

Evgeny Svirin made a presentation to the staff of the Department of Normal Physiology on "Studying the interaction of genetic and environmental factors in the development of neuropsychiatric pathologies in mouse models."

The presentation aroused great interest among the teaching staff of the department, since the scientific direction of the department is to study the complex effect of stress factors on the body functions of small laboratory animals.

The speaker was asked a lot of questions, and an interesting exchange of views took place.

During the coming week, it is planned to conduct joint experiments on mice under the leadership of E. Svirina, which will be the first stage of the implementation of the International Project.
