A meeting on the topic of Internet fraud was held at Astana Medical University, which was organized for students by the operative of the Criminal Police Department of the Saryarka district Police Department, police Lieutenant V.N. Madenov, perhaps everyone has heard about Internet scammers. However, every day many of our citizens still fall for the tricks of criminals.

Currently, the 5 most common types of Internet crimes have been identified:

• Calls disguised as bank employees;

• Hacking of popular messengers (Whatsapp, Telegram)

• Calls with the offer of "investing money";

• Scammers on Instagram;

• Fraud on websites (OLX, KZ Roof, KZ Wheels, etc.).

Easy money on the Internet is almost always a scam. Financial pyramids, online casinos, earning on cryptocurrency, household appliances and half-price vacation packages to resorts, sites with free music or movies — all this is a chance to lose money. There are hundreds of techniques in the arsenal of attackers, and new ones appear every day. Therefore, this issue is relevant for everyone and for future doctors in particular. You can even use the thesis here: "Warned means armed" or "Informed means armed."

As a rule, the purpose of fraud is not cash, but bank card data, electronic accounts, or a transfer of money from you to a third party.

The speaker told the students about the essence of his work, about the procedure for law enforcement agencies when contacting citizens in cases of Internet fraud, about how scammers behave, informed the children about contacts where they can ask for help.
