NJSC “Astana Medical University”, Department of General Medical Practice with a course of evidence-based medicine, Department of Family Medicine No. 3, Kazakhstan invites primary care specialists, chief physicians, clinical practice nurses, young scientists and academic staff from medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international universities, medical higher colleges, Higher Medical Colleges, representatives of public organizations and Associations to take part in the International scientific-practical conference «Current issues of primary health care: modern trends, problems and proposed solutions».

CONFERENCE PROGRAM

The conference program includes plenary sessions, work in sections and thematic discussions. Based on the results of the conference, it is planned to publish conference materials in an online collection of abstracts.

MAIN THEMES OF THE CONFERENCE:

·          The effectiveness of existing principles of primary health care in the work of GPs: current trends, challenges and solutions.

·          Interprofessional interaction of specialists of various profiles at the stage of primary health care.

·          Research in primary care: features of research, implementation in practice.

·          The role of the nurse in primary health care organizations: trends, innovations, exchange of experience, professional education and development.

FORMS OF PARTICIPATION

·          oral presentation (duration: maximum 7 minutes; 3 minutes for discussion);

·          oral presentation with publication of abstract;

·          only publication of abstract;

·          participation as audience.

Attendance in the conference is free of charge.

PROCEDURE FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE

For participation in the conference as a speaker and submission of an abstract, please fill out Google Forms https://forms.gle/FxzgjuX1iS9FGkpe7 before 30.04.2024.

To participate in the conference as a listener, you must also register before 10.05.2024.

The application must be completed in accordance with the Application

(see below).

Abstracts must be sent in *.doc or *.docx format to the email address conf2024pmsp@gmail.com before 30.04.2024.

Participants will receive notifications of acceptance of abstracts for publication by 10.05.2024.

Applications of abstracts submitted after 30.04.2024 will not be accepted.

Presentations must be sent in two formats *.ppt and *.pptx to the email address zemlyanskaya.n@amu.kz before 06.05.2024. Presentations submitted after 06.05.2024 will not be accepted.

File name – Last name and initials of the first author or speaker.

Conference materials are published in electronic form. The Conference Planning Committee reserves the right to edit or reject material that does not correspond with the topic of the conference or the requirements. The Conference Planning Committee will decide if the presentation will be an oral or only published in electronic abstract book. The participant will receive a notification about the inclusion of the oral presentation in the conference program by 10.05.2024.

At the end of the conference, participants will be given certificates (electronic).

REQUIREMENTS FOR ABSTRACTS

Abstracts, checked stylistically and orthographically, should be presented in Kazakh, Russian or English languages. The text should be typed in MS Word program, font: Times New Roman (12 size), line spacing - single, with margins of 2,0 cm on left and right sides of the sheet, top and bottom margins 1,5 (sheet format A4). The number of words is no more than 450 words, excluding the title, information about the authors (names/institutions).

The file name – the surname and initials of the first author.

The heading is formatted as follows:

The first line - initials, surname(s) of the author(s) in bold type;

The second line – the title of the work in capital letters in bold type, no more than three lines without abbreviations;

The third line - level of education, course of study, specialty;

The fourth line – academic degree, academic title, initials, surname of the supervisor;

The fifth line – institution full name, city, country in bold type.

Abbreviations are not allowed. Alignment of the first three lines in the center of the sheet. Further, after a space, the text of the abstract. Alignment of the text of the abstract in width. First-line indents – 1 cm. Abstracts that do not meet the requirements are returned for correction.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ORAL PRESENTATION AT THE CONFERENCE

1.    The presentation should be in MS Power Point (Power Point 2003-2016);

2.    Duration of oral presentation should not exceed 7 minutes, discussion – 3 minutes.

3.    The speaker must send the presentation to the conference organizers before 06.05.2024. The file name – the surname and initials of the speaker. Please send it to: zemlyanskaya.n@amu.kz

4.    Due to the different laptop software, please save and send your presentations in two extensions *.ppt and *.pptx.

5.    Presentation requirements: the presentation must be made according to generally accepted rules (light slide + dark letters). On the first slide: the name of the university (organization), then the name of the department or place of work for medical practitioners, the topic of the oral presentation; the full name of the speaker; academic title and full name of the supervisor (for Master/PhD students); city and year.
