Health Diagnostics Laboratory

History of creation:

In 2012, on the initiative of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor E.D. Dalenov, an educational laboratory "Health Diagnostics" was created on the basis of the Department of Preventive Medicine and Nutrition, aimed at the formation and development of practical skills among students in the educational activities of the department. Since 2023, it has been part of the Academician E.Dalenov Research Institute of Preventive Medicine.

Goals:

Formation and improvement of practical skills among students in the field of diagnosing the state of the body, aimed at strengthening and maintaining health.

Main activities:

-     measurement of anthropometric indicators of the body;

-     measurement of the structural component of the body by bioimpedancemetry;

-     conducting functional tests to analyze the state of the body;

-     conducting prenosological diagnostics of health and filling out the “Health Passport”;

-     definition actual nutrition of students;

-     assessment of nutritional status;

-     assessment of the state of health and biological age of students and other age groups;

-     definition biological age;

-     advisory activities in the research work of students
