Foreign students played asyk in Astana
For the first time, Astana hosted the asik ata Asian Championship with the participation of representatives of Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Mongolia, India, China, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The participants showed a good game, men by asyk atu and girls by bes asyk.
This international event was organized by the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Center for National and Equestrian Sports, the National Sports Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federation "Asyk Ata".
Students of Astana Medical University - natives of Pakistan and India also participated in this championship.

The closing ceremony of the Asian Championship was attended by Vice-Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan S. Zharasbayev, Chairman of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture S. Yergaliyev, President of the National Sports Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan I. Salzhanov.
From the President of the Federation "Asyk Ata", Astana Medical University was awarded a letter of thanks for its contribution to the development of national sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
