April 12-13, 2023 NJSC "Astana Medical University" conducts the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Science and Youth: Discoveries and Possibilities". Students, interns, residents, undergraduates, doctorate students, and young scientists from Kazakhstan and other nations are welcome to participate.

      Conference languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.

      Based on the materials of the conference, collection of works of the scientific-practical conference will be published.

       Bachelor students (1-5 courses), schoolchildren perform on April 12.

       Interns, undergraduates, residents, doctoral students and other young scientists perform on April 13.

Abstract requirements:

Materials of a participant’s own research, carefully verified and edited, are accepted for publication. The thesis is accepted with the condition of a detailed report at the conference of the conducted research. The text document is provided in Microsoft Word 2013 format, on 1-2 pages of A4 format, font 12, Times New Roman, single spacing, margins - left and right 2.0, top and bottom - 1.5.

Abstract formatting requirements

- Full name of the author(-s) (bold type, surname and initials)

-Title of the work (capital case, bold, no quotes)

- Full name of the supervisor (italics, degree, position)

-Department, university (organization), city (italic)

-The text of the thesis (introduction, relevance of the theme, purpose, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions)

REQUIREMENTS FOR ORAL PRESENTATION AT THE CONFERENCE

1. The presentation must be made in MS Power Point

(PowerPoint 2003-2016).

2. Duration of oral presentation should not exceed 5-7 minutes, discussion - 3 minutes.

3. Due to different laptop software, please save your presentations in two formats *.ppt and *.pptx.

4. Requirements for the presentation: the presentation must be made according to generally accepted rules (dark letters on a light background). On the first slide: the name of the university, then - the name of the department or place of work for practicing medical workers, the name of the job; full name of the speaker; the name of the supervisor; city and year, etc.

5. Submit the report in a timely manner until April 03, 2023 to the moderators of the sections according to the conference program.
