The National Association of Gastroenterologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the NAO "Astana Medical University" invites you to take part in the Republican conference dedicated to the "World Digestive Health Day (WDHD), held annually in the world under the auspices of the WGO.

Conference "Digestive health – the health of the whole body! Fundamentals of cancer prevention", date of June 2, 2023 in Astana.

 A healthy intestine is the basis of a healthy body. The formation of a healthy microbiome occurs throughout a person's life, starting from the intranatal period of development, early childhood. An unbalanced microbiome is associated with chronic inflammation and may increase the risk of developing inflammatory bowel diseases, autoimmune pathologies, and colorectal cancer. It is important to know all the principles of a healthy diet, the role of pre and probiotics, the harm and benefits of medications / antibiotics, hormones, chemotherapy drugs/;

risk factors for the development of oncological diseases of the digestive system, the principles of carcinogenesis, widely publicize screening programs, the possibilities of modern targeted therapy.

Within the framework of this conference, the following issues raised and recommended by WDHD-2023 WGO will be discussed:

• The composition of the intestinal microflora of each individual is his unique biological passport.

• Proper nutrition, lifestyle, balanced water balance, minimizing the impact of stressful situations are the best conditions for high–quality longevity.

• Provide gastroenterologists, their patients and non-professionals with an understanding of the availability of specialized diagnostic care for patients with suspected digestive cancer;

• Be aware of modern concepts of the formation of precancerous and cancerous digestive organs in order to identify risk groups, monitor them, and the possibility of slowing down the process.

 Gastroenterologists, oncologists, therapists, pediatricians, GPS, endoscopists, pathologists, as well as interested doctors of other specialties, teachers of clinical departments, residents, undergraduates, doctoral students, interns of clinical departments are invited to participate.
