Within the framework of the signed memorandum of the NAO "Astana Medical University" and UZ of Kostanay region at the invitation of the head of the State Institution Dzhandaev D.S. Faculty of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases represented by Baesheva D.A. (Chief freelance infectious disease specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Children's), MD, Professor, Head of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Kosherova B.N. (chief freelance Infectious disease specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan (adult), Zhumagalieva G.D. (PhD, associate Professor), Seydullayeva A.Zh.- (PhD, associate professor) and Altynbekova A.V. (MD, assistant) a conference was held for infectious disease doctors, internists, GPS, obstetrician gynecologists on the most pressing issues of infectious diseases.

During this conference, reports were announced on the most relevant topics to date: current course, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, approaches to therapy, issues of prevention of influenza, ARVI, measles, meningococcal infection, helminthiasis, CMVI and herpesvirus infections, OCI in children and adults, with an emphasis on pregnant women.

More than 100 doctors took part in the seminar, covering infectious diseases from remote regions of Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions, in order to share scientific achievements, clinical experience in the diagnosis, prevention, treatment and organization of medical care for infectious diseases, taking into account the principles of evidence-based and personalized medicine.

The conference was held offline with a live broadcast via social networks (Instagram) of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

This conference received positive feedback from practitioners who received comprehensive answers to questions related to the practical part, differential diagnosis (primary and secondary meningitis), laboratory examination methods, tactics for managing complex, severe patients, and interdisciplinary interaction.

It should also be noted that as a result of the conference, doctors have sufficient competence in pediatric and adult infections, with an emphasis on pregnant women for further application in their practical activities.
