On March 28, 2024, the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases of the NpJSC "Astana Medical University" held a motivational meeting in the conditions of a simulation university, with the participation of 1st and 3rd year students of the School of Pediatrics, as part of the calendar events of the School of Pediatrics.

         Assistant Omarova A.K. gave a lecture on the organization and operation of the simulation center at the department, showed the importance of practicing practical skills, teamwork skills, improving communication skills, developing clinical thinking without harm to patients through repeated repetition. The leading methodologist of the simulation center Beisova G.K. conducted an excursion and showed the possibilities of the center's work, also undergraduate students under the guidance of assistants of the department Altynbekova A.V. and Otarbayeva A.E. were able to independently master practical skills of CPR, lumbar puncture, auscultation of the lungs and heart in various pathologies on high-tech mannequins. The students had the opportunity to see a demonstration of a master class on the clinical situation of laryngeal stenosis and convulsions in a child, conducted by resident infectious diseases specialists.

         As a result of the meeting, a lot of positive feedback and words of thanks were received.
