From March 20 to 24, 2024, a master class by PhD, ass. Professor of the Department of Pediatric Surgery Dossanov Bolatbek on the topic: "Microsurgery of congenital hand defects in children" was held in the pediatric orthopedic department of the Multidisciplinary Regional Children's Hospital in Aktobe. The master class was held jointly with an invited specialist from St. Petersburg (Russia), hand surgeon, MD, Professor A.B. Oreshkov. 

The training was attended by promising young, talented doctors of the Department of Pediatric Orthopedics, Department of Pediatric Surgery of the M.Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University. 

Also, within the framework of this event, consultative and diagnostic assistance was provided to patients with congenital hand defects in Aktobe and Aktobe region.

Surgical operations on the hand of 5 young patients were performed at a high professional level, the goals and objectives were achieved, the patients were safely transferred to outpatient treatment at their place of residence. Medical specialists have gained tremendous experience in modern approaches to the surgical treatment of congenital hand pathologies, mastered the skills of microsurgery of the hand, correct diagnosis, and treatment tactics. Patients, without leaving the region, have access to the latest treatment methods, which is an invaluable contribution to their health and well-being.

    In turn, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.B. Oreshkov invited colleagues to study at the Institute of Professional Medical Education in St. Petersburg, which further contributes to the development of practical healthcare and medical science in the region. At the end of the master class, in a solemn atmosphere, the participants of the master class were awarded certificates of completion of the master class.

The management of the Regional Children's Hospital, represented by the chief physician and chief freelance pediatric orthopedist of the Aktobe region A.E. Aubakirov, expressed gratitude to the invited professors and the NAO "Astana Medical University" for the practical assistance provided during the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the university.
