History of creation

By order of the USSR Ministry of Health in 1966, the Department of Pharmacology was opened at the Tselinograd State Medical Institute. Its first head was Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Zabirov Ilgadar Sharipovich. Subsequently, in different years, the department was headed by associate professors: Grebneva Lidia Samuilovna (from 1966 to 1976), Trofimenko Stanislav Petrovich (from 1976 to 1978)., Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Ratnikov Vladimir Ivanovich (from 1978 to 1982) .), Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor Gulyaev Vladimir Grigorievich (from 1982 to 1993), Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Mukhambetov Damir Dauletkalievich (from 1993 to 2005, from 2011 to 2015), Ph.D. .m.s., associate professor Sholanova Madina Kasymovna (from 2003 to 2004), Ph.D. Stikeeva Raikhan Kuandykovna (from 2005 to 2008), Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Mazhitov Talgat Mansurovich (from 2008 to 2011), Zhusupova Gulnara Dargerovna (from 2015 to 2019).

Currently, the department employs doctor of medical sciences, professor of the department Stikeeva R.K., candidate of medical sciences, associate professor of the department Zhussupova GD, PhD, associate professor of the department Akhaeva T.A., Art. teacher Atabieva L.M., teacher Bekova A.N. and etc.

Objectives

  • planning, organization and implementation of educational, methodological, educational work, current, intermediate and final control of student learning in accordance with curricula and programs;
  • training highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel, improving their qualifications in magistracy, doctoral studies;
  • planning and conducting research on preclinical studies of the safety and efficacy of drugs of different pharmacotherapeutic groups.

Functions

  • development of a development strategy for the department in areas and specialties of training, strengthening and development of relations with employers and educational authorities;
  • implementation of educational programs of the state educational standard of higher professional and postgraduate education in the profile of the department;
  • development of a quality system for training specialists within the department;
  • conducting all types of training sessions on the forms of training;
  • maintaining an electronic journal of progress by the staff of the department according to the pedagogical load;
  • holding meetings of the department to discuss planned and current issues of educational, methodological, clinical, scientific work and educational work with students;
  • development of curricula for the disciplines of the department;
  • implementation of comprehensive educational and methodological support of the educational process according to the profile of the department.

Activities

  • the main educational task is, on the basis of the modular principle of teaching in integration with fundamental disciplines, to form students' holistic ideas about the causes, mechanisms of occurrence, pathomorphological changes, development and outcomes of the main clinical symptoms, syndromes and diagnostics, as well as about the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of drugs in case of nervous , endocrine, hematopoietic, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive and genitourinary systems, musculoskeletal system, skin and its appendages.
  • the main scientific direction - planning and conducting scientific research on preclinical studies of the safety and efficacy of drugs of different pharmacotherapeutic groups.

Achievements

In 2011, professor of the department D.D.Mukhambetov and associate professor D.Sh.Tarzhanova together with doctors of medical sciences M.Z.Shaidarov and M.N.Musin published the textbook "Fundamentals of pharmacology with recipes" in Kazakh and Russian languages.

In 2013, the professor of the department RK Stikeeva published textbooks "Pharmacology with the basics of pharmacotherapy", together with Koranova T.S. - "A course of lectures on pharmacology for students of the Faculty of Dentistry" and in 2018 revised and supplemented the textbook "Pharmacology with the basics of pharmacotherapy" in Kazakh, Russian and English.
