In order to encourage the most talented young scientists of the University who have made a great contribution to the development of fundamental and applied science, "Astana Medical University"JSC is holding a competition on awarding the annual corporate award "Zhas Daryn" on the day of Science.

The corporate award "Zhas Daryn" is awarded to employees of the "Astana Medical University"JSC under the age of 40 years inclusive, who have at least 1 year of work experience at the University. According to the results of the competition, 3 winners will be selected. The winners of the contest will be awarded with a badge (medal) "Zhas Daryn", and will receive a cash bonus in the amount of 30 to 70 MCI.

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted from January 3 to March 1, 2024 inclusive. The results of the competition will be announced on the university's website by April 1, 2024. The awarding of the corporate award (medal) "Zhas Daryn" will take place on April 12, 2024.

Applications and a package of documents of the corporate award applicant are accepted electronically by email: nauka@amu.kz and on paper to the center for the development of research activities (47 Abai Avenue , 7th floor, room 709, tel.: 8705-170-11-11.

The applicant for the assignment of the corporate award "Zhas Daryn" must provide the following set of documents (paper documents are accepted in folders with passport data and contact information):

1. Application for participation in the competition and a list of supporting documents in any form indicating the nomination;

2. Resume with a photo, also specify the ResearcherID (Web of Science) and/or ScopusID, and attach a copy of the workbook;

3. A report on the effectiveness of scientific and innovative activities, certified by the head of the structural unit of the University in which the applicant works in accordance with Annex 2 of the Regulations on awarding the corporate award "Zhas Daryn", with the attachment of supporting documents:

- Carrying out scientific research over the past two years

- Scientific publications over the past two years, including articles, abstracts, short messages, conference materials, scientific book publications;

- Patent activity over the last 2 years;

- Training of scientific and pedagogical personnel over the past two years;

- Participation in international conferences (participation is confirmed by the certificate of the participant) for the last two years.
