On December 2, 2024, at the Astana Medical University, as part of the “Family and Society” program, a lecture was held by theologian-psychologist Nurbol Sarsenovich Seilkhanov. The meeting was dedicated to one of the most important topics for the modern young generation and was aimed at preventing such phenomena as drug addiction and gambling addiction.

Lively and useful discussion

During the lecture, Nurbol Sarsenovich presented real examples showing the severe consequences of drug addiction and gambling addiction. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss important aspects of dealing with these challenges.

This meeting became a significant contribution to preventive work to create a conscious attitude towards the problems of addiction and the prevention of extremism among young people. We thank Nurbol Seilkhanov for his deep and meaningful lecture, and the students for their active participation!
