In the period from June 13 to 17, 2022, the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (Kaunas, Lithuania) hosted the next master class "Advanced qualitative methods in nursing" within the framework of the Accelerating Master and PhD level nursing education development in the higher education system in Kazakhstan (Acceled) project.

Within the framework of the academic mobility program from Astana Medical University, this master class was attended by 4 master students of "Nursing" specialty, as well as 4 assistants of the Department of General Medical Practice with a course of evidence-based medicine and the Department of Nursing.

The week turned out to be eventful, the participants listened to lectures from leading experts from European universities (Joseph Almazan, Thóra B. Hafsteinsdóttir, Stina Wallin, Olga Riklikiene, Aurelija Blaževičienė, Jurgita Gulbiniene). Which included all the necessary information about the types, advantages, and subtleties of conducting qualitative research in the field of nursing in Kazakhstan, as well as the consolidation of new material by performing tasks in small groups, taking into account the specifics of the education and healthcare system in Kazakhstan.
