History of creation

History of the Civil Defense Sector and Emergency Situations. Civil defense is a state system of governing bodies and measures taken in peacetime and wartime in order to protect the population, facilities and territory from the impact of damaging factors of modern weapons of destruction, natural and man-made emergencies. The organization and conduct of civil defense is one of the most important functions of the state, an integral part of its defense measures. The Department of Civil Defense and Security Control has emerged as an organizational and staff structure since the founding of the institute (1964).

Tasks

The main task of the civil defense (GO) and security control department is to train employees and students, civil defense units in the rules and procedures of behavior, as well as to maintain them in constant readiness in cases of emergencies of a natural and man-made nature, in accordance with the Law "On Civil Defense" from 05/07/1997.

The task set for the Department of Civil Defense and Security Control is the creation of a civil defense training base, the material and technical support of the university staff (gas masks, respirators, protective clothing), necessary for effective training of sandruggers. Training of the leadership of the university in a 12-hour program, formations in a 15-hour program. Draw up a calendar plan for conducting classes.

The second direction of the department is mobilization work with the military personnel of the Society, registration of conscripts, as well as registration work with citizens.
