Academic mobility
Academic mobility is one of the key instruments of the internationalization of education.
It provides students, interns, residents, master’s and doctoral students with the opportunity to study, undertake internships, or participate in research training at higher education institutions in Kazakhstan and abroad, with subsequent recognition of the achieved learning outcomes.
Eligibility

Students, interns, residents, master’s and doctoral students of the university
- Academic staff and researchers (within exchange or internship programmes)
Types of Academic Mobility

External mobility — studying or undertaking an internship at partner universities abroad
- Internal mobility — studying at higher education institutions within the Republic of Kazakhstan
Main Requirements

No academic debts or disciplinary sanctions

A minimum GPA of 3.2 (or 2.67 for internal mobility)

Proficiency in a foreign language at B2 level or higher (confirmed by an IELTS, TOEFL certificate, or an internal language test)

Submission of a motivation letter and recommendation letters
Funding Sources
Participation in academic mobility programmes may be funded through:

the state (republican) budget
-
university internal funds
-
international programmes (Erasmus+, Orhun, etc.)

or personal funds of the student
Participation Procedure
1. Review the available programmes and list of partner universities
2. Submit your application and required documents to the International Cooperation Center
3. Pass the competitive selection process
4. Upon approval, sign the Learning Agreement
5. Upon return, submit a report and transcript for credit transfer and recognition
