Turmukhambetova Anar Akylbekovna graduated from the Karaganda State Medical Institute in 1992, Doctor of Medical Sciences.
After completing her clinical residency at the Department of Hospital Therapy of KSMI in 1994, she continued her scientific and pedagogical activity as an assistant at the Department of Internal Medicine.
In 1999, she defended her PhD thesis in the specialty "Radiation Diagnostics, Radiation Therapy".
Since 2000, she worked as a doctor of ultrasound and functional diagnostics at the National Laboratory of the University "Polyclinic No. 2" in Karaganda.
Since 2002, she headed the Department of Radiation Diagnostics of the Faculty of Continuing Medical Education of the Kazakh State Medical Academy; Astana; Senior Researcher, Department of Radiation Diagnostics, Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, Astana.
Since 2007, she headed the Department of Radiation Diagnostics and Nuclear Medicine, Republican Diagnostic Center, Astana.
From 2010 to 2012, she worked as an academic secretary at the Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics.
Since September 2012 - Vice-Rector for Research, KMU.
From 2016 to 2019, she was Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Science and International Cooperation, KSMU.
Since 2019, she worked as Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Science, NAO MUK.
Since 2022, she held the position of Chairman of the Board - Rector, NAO Karaganda Medical University.
Studied at Columbia University (USA) in research management in 2007. Since then, she has been actively implementing international research standards in healthcare.
She lectures on clinical epidemiology and biostatistics at the Republican Center for Healthcare Development, Astana Medical University. Participates in scientific expertise of scientific and technical programs and projects. Studied at the European School of Radiology (Graz, Austria).
In 2010, she defended her doctoral dissertation in the specialty "Radiation Diagnostics, Radiation Therapy".
A. Turmukhambetova has been conducting research in the field of osteoporosis and applied aspects of using radiation diagnostics in clinical practice for many years.
She is the author of 2 monographs and 1 textbook, 4 patents, 206 scientific publications, 41 of which are included in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Member of the European Society of Radiologists, the Association of X-ray Radiologists of Kazakhstan.
For her services in the field of development of medicine and medical science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, she was awarded the badges "Excellent Healthcare Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Higher Education in the Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan", and certificates of honor of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
