Suleimenova R.K. The head of the Department of public health and hygiene , PhD, associate Professor, graduated in 2003 SCHMO them. M. Ospanov, Department of Pediatrics.
After completing her Internship in Pediatrics, she worked at the University of the Moscow state MEDICAL University named after M. Ospanov in Aktyubinsk from 2004 to 2009, she worked as a senior teacher. From 2010 – 2011, she worked as a Deputy Dean of the faculty of medicine and prevention, public health and pharmacy. In 2011, she defended her PhD thesis. He has more than 16 years of experience in research and practice.
Since 2011, she worked at NAO "Astana medical University", associate Professor, since 2012, head of the Department of hygiene.
Active scientific and pedagogical work of Suleymenova Roza Kaldybekkyzy is devoted to training of personnel at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels in the specialties "Medical and preventive care" and "Public health". Under her guidance, a master's degree student of 9 masters of medicine was trained for 1 MBA.
A large methodical work Suleimenova dedicated to the development of educational programmes and she was the President of majoring in " Public health" (2013-2017), member of the scientific workshop on specialty " Мedical and preventive care" and " Public health" (2014-2017), chlenom interdepartmental seminar in the specialty of " Public health", "Nursing" and hygienic disciplines.
R. K. Suleimenova actively introduces innovative Training technologies with Colleagues in the educational process of training personnel. So, during the period of work in the IIA, it has introduced more than 12 innovative methods, for which it received implementation certificates and author's certificates. She is also an expert in the implementation of educational technologies at the NJSC "AMU".
Suleymenova R. K. conducts methodological work on the implementation of hygienic methods of investigation and risk assessment work of the Department, under her leadership, the standards and algorithms on portable equipments, carried out comparative testing and training of health laboratory for accreditation to ISO 17025. In addition, it actively implements master's and doctoral programs in the educational process.
She is a member of the organizing committees of international conferences in Russia and Azerbaijan.
She has more than 200 publications, including 1 monograph, 14 guidelines, 25 author's certificates.
For active and fruitful work, she was awarded a diploma of the NJSC "Astana medical University".
In 2020, she was awarded the badge "Excellent Health Worker".

Formation story

The department was organized in 1966 at the Tselinograd State Medical Institute and the first head of the department was Candidate of Medical Sciences, docent Filatov Ivan Ignatievich.

The department has been headed at various times by: MD, Professor N.I. Ananyev, MD, Professor A.A.Abdikulov, MD, Professor L.N. Salpynov, MD Sharbakov A.Zh., and since 2011 the department has been headed by Candidate of Medical Sciences, docent Suleimenova Rosa Kaldybekovna.

The department participates in the training of personnel at the bachelor's and master's degree levels in the specialized and scientific-pedagogical areas. The staff is represented by 1 candidate of Medical Sciences, 2 PhD doctors, 8 masters of medical and natural Sciences.

During the period of work, the department has trained 10 masters of medicine, and currently a doctoral student is also being trained in the specialty "Public Health".

Employees are in demand as experts and testologists, they are active members of international and republican associations, such as the Kazakhstan Association of Health Managers, the Kazakhstan Association for the Conservation of Biodiversity of the Republic of Kazakhstan, NASKI (RF).

The department closely cooperates with schools and lyceums in Astana, participates in the career guidance work of the NPJSC "AMU", organizes master classes for schoolchildren, and also teaches them within the framework of Summer School programs.

The practical bases of the department are the Departments of sanitary and epidemiological control of Astana, polyclinics and Centers of expertise.

Teachers and students actively participate in academic mobility programs with medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UIG, including hosting partners.

For participating as volunteers during the pandemic, students and teachers received letters of thanks from the Departments of the SECC and the Sectoral Trade Union of Medical Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Many teachers have badges "Densalyk Saktau isinin uzdigi" MHS RK, departmental certificates of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Branch Trade Union of Medical Workers, letters of thanks from the Territorial bodies of Sanitary and Epidemiological control of Astana, for their contribution and achievements.

A lot of work is being done by the department with AMU partners, which are universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KMU, SKMA, WKSMU named after M. Ospanov, KazNMU named after S. D. Asfendiyarov, KNU named after Al-Farabi), as well as the UIG (Wagner State Medical University - RF, TMA-Uzbekistan, AMU- Azerbaijan).
