History of creation
The military department of the NJSC "Astana Medical University" was organized by the order of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the USSR No. 105 - C dated July 13, 1965.
The first head of the military department was Colonel of the Medical Service Kroshkin Georgy Petrovich (1967-1978), a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, who led the regiment's medical service in the battles of Stalingrad, participated in the liberation of Ukraine and Crimea, for which he was awarded the Red Star Order ...
Under his leadership, the formation of the military department took place, the teaching staff was formed, the material and technical base of the department was created.
In 1978, the military department was headed by Colonel of the Medical Service Nikolai Vasilyevich Golovin, a member of the labor front during the Great Patriotic War. Before being appointed head of the military department, he went from head of a medical center to head of the medical service of the association.
From 1987 to 2016, the military department was headed by:
- Colonel of the Medical Service Petr Petrovich Göttinger;
- Colonel of the medical service Nenaydenko Alexander Nikolaevich;
- Colonel of the medical service Dairov Satkhan Sattarovich;
- Colonel of the medical service Murzakhmetov Khabduali Khamitovich;
- Colonel of the medical service Dakenov Kairbek Maksimovich;
- Colonel of the medical service Aytimov Alimzhan Rakhanovich.
Objectives
Preparation of the mobilization reserve of the Republic of Kazakhstan in military registration specialties on the basis of the received higher professional education, as well as the creation of a reserve for additional staffing of the primary positions of the officer corps of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the current incompetence.
Activities
- Planning, organization and implementation of educational, methodological, educational work, current, intermediate and final control of students ' education in accordance with the curricula and programs;
- Training of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel, improving their skills;
- Training of reserve officers in the military accounting specialty "medical care in the ground forces", defined by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, meeting the qualification characteristics of reserve officer training programs;
- Development of the most important qualities of students necessary for creative activity in the interests of the fatherland, strengthening the state, protecting its national interests and ensuring sustainable development.
- Training under the reserve officers program for the purpose of training the mobilization reserve of the Republic of Kazakhstan and recruiting the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other troops and military formations in peacetime;
- Implementation of approved training programs that determine the organization, methodological and practical content of military training of students, as well as the optimal amount of theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired by them in the established military specialty;
- Development of thematic plans, plans and schedules for the passage of programs that train and graduate military specialists who meet the requirements of reserve officer training programs and qualification characteristics in the relevant military accounting specialties;
- Implementation of educational and methodological support of academic disciplines of the department: methodological developments for conducting classes, textbooks, training and teaching aids, collections of tasks, complex tasks for conducting practical classes, as well as materials for the current and final control of classes;
- Organization of events to promote Kazakhstan's patriotism, tolerance, respect for human rights and freedoms, formation of students ' sense of meaningful civic solidarity, interethnic and interpersonal understanding;
- Organization, conduct and control of academic work, organization and conduct of current monitoring of students ' academic performance;
- Development and implementation of plans for professional development of the teaching staff at courses and internships in educational, military educational institutions, including the National Defense University named after him. The First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan-the Leader of the Nation;
- Organization, conduct and control of educational work, educational and methodological activities;
- Organization and implementation of measures for the development and improvement of the educational and material base, material and technical support of educational equipment and training weapons;
- Organization and conduct of paid services in accordance with the Regulations of the University and paid services;
- Organization of measures to maintain military discipline, internal order and compliance with the secrecy regime;
- Organization and conduct of student training camps;
- Organization and implementation of methodological work, development of thematic plans corresponding to the training programs for reserve officers, training, training and methodological complexes of disciplines and methodological developments in the subjects of military training;
- Ensuring the integration of educational work into the national educational process carried out by the University on the basis of the world experience of advanced foreign universities, expanding and strengthening ties with military educational institutions and other structural units of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as military departments of higher educational institutions;
- Preparation of proposals for the development of relations with educational institutions and organizations aimed at improving the educational, teaching and methodological work, improving the skills of teaching staff;
- Timely submission of established reports on the results of all types of activities.
- Systematic communication of the following duties to students during military training and constant monitoring of their performance:
- Conscientiously study military affairs, persistently master command, methodological and practical skills in the established specialty of military training;
- In military training classes, fulfill the requirements of the general military regulations and the daily routine of the department;
- Arrive at classes neatly dressed in the prescribed form, be shaved, have a neat haircut;
- Constantly attend all types of military training classes provided for in the training program, take part in events held by the department, work on improving the educational, material and technical base of the department;
- Protect the state and directly the cathedral property, take care of educational weapons, equipment, military training and other property of the department, strictly observe all safety measures when handling weapons, when working with equipment (training and combat) and in all other cases;
- Observe the fire safety rules, safety measures, internal regulations of the university and the department, the requirements of this Regulation and the Regulations on the academic discipline of students, the provisions of general military charters and the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- During the days of military training (according to the schedule), perform the duties of a full-time student at the department (cycle), a platoon duty officer);
- According to the plan of the department to participate in the work on cleaning and maintaining order in the territory assigned to it.
Achievements
- During the existence of the department, more than 11 thousand students were trained in military training, many of them chose the profession of a military doctor. In the ranks of the Soviet Army and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, medical officers - graduates of our university served and are doing military service in various positions.
- As part of the training of military medical specialists in the cycle of organization and tactics of the medical service, course training was completed - 172 officers of the medical service of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 3 officers of the Republican Guard.
- For students in the educational process, in order to better master practical skills in the organization of medical support, including in the field, a small medical training ground has been introduced.
- Also, classes are held at the training and clinical center using dummies.
- The clinical bases of the department are the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Main Military Clinic of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the medical company of the military unit 68665, where theoretical and practical skills are practiced.
- The department is taught by qualified specialists trained at the Tomsk Military Medical Faculty, at the Military Medical Academy named after V.I. CM. Kirov, St. Petersburg, Russian Federation.
- Passed an internship at medical institutions (Naval Hospital in San Diego, USA), at the Military Medical Academy of the Bundeswehr Army (Germany), as well as advanced training courses at the National Defense University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation.
- The officers of the department participated in the international exercises "Partnership for Peace" in 2006 (Yerevan, Armenia), "GlobalMedik" in 2016 (USA).
- The staff of the department are excellent health workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctors of medicine.
- The officers of the department passed the military link during the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, served in the positions of the leadership of the medical service of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
