In the period from December 12 to 23, 2022 NJSC "Astana Medical University" invited leading endocrinologist of Moscow city, director of the Endocrinology Clinic of Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, M.D, Corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences professor Valentin Fadeev as a foreign specialist to read lectures and hold master-classes for the teaching staff, residents on specialty "Adult and children endocrinology", master and doctoral students of the university, as well as for doctors - endocrinologists of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the visit is to improve the qualifications and professional skills of the teaching staff and students, as well as the exchange of scientific data in the field of experimental and clinical endocrinology.

The training of physicians in endocrinology is an extremely actual and at the same time, there is a lack of endocrinologists in practical health care. Endocrine system diseases are one of the most widespread among the population. Thyroid gland function disorders, fat metabolism disorders are common in more than 30-40% of the population. More and more often registered diabetes mellitus. The most severe outcomes of such disease as Covid-19 were exactly in patients with diabetes mellitus.

In the learning process, in addition to lectures, there are also the analysis of complex clinical cases is taking place.
