Dieter Riethmacher,  vice dean for research and postgraduate programs and chair of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Nazarbayev University (NU) School of Medicine, and Mohamad Aljofan, associate professor at Nazarbayev University School of Medicine, visited Astana Medical University.

Shynar Baidullaeva, head of the National Center for Expertise of Medicines and Medical Devices department, also participated in this activity.

With the leadership of the Medical University of Astana, they talked about the priority areas of joint activities. The parties agreed to open a master's program with a double diploma and conduct research in NU laboratories.

During the visit, guests met with students, visited the museum and learned about the university’s achievements and its history.
