September 6-8, 2023 a non-profit joint-stock company "Astana Medical University", with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and together with the Ariel University, Israel, holds the International Summit "Academia of the XXI century: Standing at the Vanguard of Medical Education, Science and Practice".

The Summit will bring together academic leaders and scientists from universities and scientific organizations from around the world to share ideas aimed at addressing the global issues and challenges of medical education, science and practice in the 21st century in order to propose solutions, shape new initiatives, exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration.

Topics to be discussed at the Summit:

˗           The Future of Medicine in the XXI Century;

˗           University identity in the modern world

˗           Digital learning and digital medicine;

˗           The university as an ecosystem;

˗           International university rankings;

˗           Personalized and preventive medicine;

˗           Academic Startups in Medicine;

˗           Sports Medicine;

˗           Gender Law;

˗           The university as a city-forming enterprise;

˗           Pharmacy;

˗           Molecular Biology, et al.

The Summit program will include plenary and breakout sessions, panel discussions with keynote speakers, lectures, master classes and round tables.

The Summit includes a Young Scientists Forum; master classes and roundtables on digital learning, Big Data in Medicine, women's leadership in academia, development of pharmaceutical clusters, and drug supply issues. The program also includes meetings with organizations that fund scientific research in Kazakhstan, visits to universities and scientific laboratories, and an exhibition of scientific achievements in the field of medicine.

An exhibition of achievements in medical education, science and practice will be held as part of the Summit.

˗       Getting a digital version of the Summit program;

˗       Obtaining a resolution based on the results of the Summit.
