Within the framework of the signed memorandum of cooperation between Universities, Head of the Department of Public Health and Epidemiology, MD, Prof. Musina Ayman Ayashevna and senior lecturer of the Department Yerdenova Gulshat Kaparovna, in the period from October 17 to October 24, 2023, passed academic mobility on the basis of the School of Public Health of the NAO "Medical University of Karaganda".

During the implementation of the academic mobility program for 4th-year students of the specialty "Public Health", lectures were given on epidemiology and prevention of acute intestinal infections (AKI), which still do not lose their relevance due to the frequency of spread, uncontrollability, severity of the course, the possibility of adverse outcomes and huge economic damage to the country.

Practical classes and independent work of students under the guidance of a teacher (SROP), independent work of students (SRO) on topical topics were also conducted: long-term dynamics and main characteristics and trends in the development of the epidemic process of acute intestinal infections among the population in the Republic of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries; priority nosologies and ways to optimize epidemiological surveillance of them; diagnostic features, prevention of acute intestinal infections in the discipline "Advanced epidemiology 1". The content of the practical classes corresponded to the approved calendar and thematic plan and was carried out in full.

The teachers discussed technologies, visited the production facilities of the School of MUK, got acquainted with educational and methodological materials and developments of colleagues, including worked out issues of academic mobility of students, a work plan within the framework of the interuniversity platform.
