The students of medical universities of Kazakhstan, members of the Kazakhstan Medical Youth Organization, hold an exhibition of scientific and social projects of students of medical universities of Kazakhstan "Medical Global Forum".
Today the Medical University of Astana hosted the opening of KazMSA - a large community of students of medical universities of Kazakhstan, numbering more than 1500 people, 250 of whom are student-activists of the Medical University of Astana.
KazMSA - operating since 2015, the directions of work are different. This is the organization of events, volunteer, social, scientific activities.
Medical Global Forum will be held for 3 days - from December 1-3. More than 50 doctors and 200 students will attend it from different medical universities of the country, such as Astana Medical University, Semey Medical University, Karaganda Medical University, Kazakh National Medical University, West Kazakhstan State Medical University, Akhmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, Kazakhstan-Russian Medical University.
The purpose of the exhibition is to mediate cooperation between students and young doctors from different regions to improve the level of medicine and professionalism of medical workers in general, exchange of knowledge in the field of innovative technologies and training methods.
At this event, students will learn and present projects in the following areas: medical education, reproductive health, including HIV and AIDS, human rights, and public health. Exchange of experience and knowledge with foreign doctors and students is expected.
The scientific community gathered at the exhibition united about 50 doctors and more than 200 students from eight medical universities of Kazakhstan.
For a number of years, Astana Medical University has been the base for the local committee of KazMSA. This public organization is headed by Alina Akhmetova, a 5th year student of the "Medicine" educational program of Astana Medical University.
The University management strives to comprehensively support the youth in the desire to develop medical science, to introduce innovations in the health care system. Currently, more than 1500 students of the university are members of student scientific clubs. More than 150 students of the University became prize winners of international Olympiads, winners of contests and various competitions.
The event will be attended by guests of the exhibition: Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Batyrbek Abdildin, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Integration of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Gulnara Mukhanova, Rector of Astana Medical University Kamalzhan Nadyrov.
The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mayor Administration of Saryarka district of Astana and Astana Medical University.
