On June 13, 2024, the conference "Minimal Invasive Urological Meeting" was held in the main building of the NJSC "Astana Medical University".
"Minimal Invasive Urological Meeting" is a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the issues of minimally invasive methods of treatment of urological diseases.
The conference "Minimal Invasive Urological Meeting" was held in a hybrid format. Doctors could observe the technique of operations performed by Korean specialists online. This allowed them to familiarize themselves with the advanced methods of minimally invasive urology. Reports on the latest achievements in this field were presented both in person and online. This gave the participants an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in this field.
The Department of Urology and Andrology of the NJSC «AMU» and the Public Association "Society of Urologists and Andrologists of Astana" actively participated in the conference.
The opening speech at the conference "Minimal Invasive Urological Meeting" was delivered by the vice-rector of the NJSC «AMU» Koikov Vitaly Viktorovich, the head of the Center for Disaster Medicine Muratov Timur Muratovich, as well as professors from Seoul National University Chang Wook Jeong and Choo Min Soo.
The moderators of the conference were Professor Khairli Gafur Zinurovich, Head of the Department of Urology and Andrology of NJSC «AMU» Zhanbyrbekuly Ulanbek and urologist-oncologist, PhD Davranov Anvar Zhangirovich.

Professor Chang is one of the leading specialists in the field of robotic surgery in South Korea, has a high publication activity (h-index - 31). As a master class, he performed laparoscopic kidney resection. Professor Choo (h-index - 16) specializes in urolithiasis, so he demonstrated skills in retrograde intrarenal surgery. Domestic urologist head.on behalf of the BMC UDP of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassymov Bakhtiyar Galyly performed a large volume thulium laser enucleation of the prostate.
The plenary session was opened by Professor Deok Hyun Han from Samsung Medical Center, who made an online presentation on «Robotic ureteral reconstruction: the role of cheek mucosa graft».
