Every year since 1985, the world has been celebrating a month of fighting against breast cancer. In 1993, the World Health Organization established World Breast Cancer Day - October 15.

The purpose of this Day of the fight against breast cancer is to focus public attention on global problems associated with oncological diseases of the mammary glands, to increase public awareness of approaches to prevention, early detection and treatment.

As part of the World Breast Cancer Day, «ALANDA» LLP held an Open Day with the active participation of the assistant of the oncology department of the NAO Astana Medical University, Asiya Maratovna Kukanova. During this day, mammologists received more than 20 women, conducted thorough consultations, ultrasound of the mammary glands and provided the necessary recommendations for the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
