Fr om November 11 to 22, 2024, 5th-year students of the "Pharmacy" educational program fr om the Kazakh National Medical University named after S. D. Asfendiyarov completed their industrial internship in "Analytical Toxicology" at the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines.

During the internship, the students studied safety rules and visited the "City Center of Mental Health," wh ere they learned about conducting toxicological studies and the laboratory's equipment. As part of the program, they analyzed medicinal substances extracted from biomaterials using modern methods.

The Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Alma Boranbekovna Shukirbekova, conducted lectures and master classes on the topic of "Comparative Evaluation of Methods for Isolating 'Pharmaceutical Poisons'." Upon completion, participants were awarded certificates.

Additionally, the students from the Kazakh National Medical University were given a guided tour of the NAO "Astana Medical University" museum, wh ere they learned about the university's history.
