In the period from November 25 to 29, 2024, the Department of Public Health of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy was visited by Professor of the Department of Public Health and Management of the NAO Astana Medical University, Kim Sergey Vasilyevich, as part of the academic mobility program of the teaching staff.

During his visit, Sergey Vasilyevich gave a course of lectures for 5th year students in the specialty "Public Health" on the subject «Fundamentals of scientific research»

The purpose of lectures within the framework of academic mobility is to exchange experiences, develop professional competencies and strengthen interuniversity cooperation. In addition, the transfer of knowledge about modern methods and approaches on the basics of scientific research and current trends in operational health analytics

The students showed great interest in the topics under consideration, actively asked questions and participated in discussions. The lectures helped to expand their knowledge and improve their level of training in the field of management.

The lectures contributed to the improvement of students' professional competencies and met the high standards of academic mobility laid down in JSC YUKMA.

Special thanks are expressed to the head of the Department of Compulsory Medical Social Insurance and Public Health of JSC YUKMA, Ph.D. Sarsenbayeva Gulzat Zhanabaevna, as well as the teaching staff of the department for their assistance and active participation in the organization and conduct of academic mobility events.
