On December 4, 2024, under the leadership of senior lecturers and academic group curators of the Department of Microbiology and Virology named after Sh.I. Sarbassova, A.G.-A. Sarsenova and G.A. Bekniyazova, students from Group 203 of the Faculty of General Medicine and Group 204 of the Faculty of Pediatrics organized a special event for children with psychoneurological disorders aged from three to eighteen years old, who are being cared for at the "Nurly Zhürek" Social Service Center under the administration of the city of Astana. The event aimed to promote the recovery and rehabilitation of the children’s health and was dedicated to the upcoming Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, celebrated on December 16.
During the event, various games and recreational exercises were organized, tailored to the children's age and health conditions. These activities were designed to improve the children's psycho-emotional well-being and increase their physical activity. Additionally, the organizers provided special gifts and necessary items, taking into account the children’s individual needs. This initiative was an important step in bringing joy to the children and brightening their lives.
The organization and successful execution of the event demonstrated the high level of professionalism of the students and lecturers, as well as their social responsibility, contributing significantly to the development of the humanitarian values of future doctors and pediatricians.
