On November 22-23, 2024 within the framework of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of NJSK " Astana Medical University" International Scientific-Morphological Conference of students and young scientists, the International Student Olympiad " АНАТОМИЯ ӘЛЕМІ - WORLD OF ANATOMY" was held.
The event brought together students and young scientists from medical universities of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. The main goal of the event was to create an international platform for exchange of experience, popularisation of morphological sciences and discussion of prospects for scientific cooperation.
Prorector Aigul Bitimbaevna Zhunusova solemnly opened the scientific forum, wishing the participants success and high achievements. Dean of the School of Medicine Ainur Anuarovna Sarieva, Head of the Department of Human Anatomy named after A.B. Aubakirov Aigul Ydyrysovna Almabayeva, Head of the Department of Normal Physiology Kureysh Mavlovich Khamchiev addressed the participants with inspiring words.
The International Student Olympiad "АНАТОМИЯ ӘЛЕМІ - WORLD OF ANATOMY" consisted of online and offline sections. According to the results of the offline section, the team of Astana Medical University (scientific supervisor Zhanalieva M.K.) won the Diploma of I degree in a challenging competition with strong guest teams.
Reports of students and young scientists at the International Scientific Morphological Conference ‘АНАТОМИЯ ӘЛЕМІ - WORLD of ANATOMY’ were presented in three sections. According to the results of the sections, our students were honoured with high awards:
Diploma of I degree ¬ Temirkhan Abylai (scientific supervisor Shayakhmetov D.A.)
Diploma of II degree ¬ Korganbai Nurhan, Aida Auganbaeva and Aysana Turysh.
On 23 November, participants met at a round table to talk about the creation of an inter-university scientific discussion platform. Young scientists and experienced mentors exchanged ideas and discussed the prospects of joint scientific projects, start-ups and international cooperation.
The event concluded with a tour of Astana, where participants enjoyed the beauty of the capital city, admiring its modern architecture and historic sights.
The International Conference and Olympiad came to an end, leaving an unforgettable mark in the hearts of its participants. The young scientists went home not only with diplomas and certificates, but also with new goals and ideas for future projects.
