The Department of Children's Diseases with the Course of Pulmonology and Nephrology of Astana Medical University organized the school of "Respiratory Rehabilitation of Children" for parents. The event took place at the clinical base of Мultidisciplinary City Children's Hospital №1, in the Pulmonology Department, and united the efforts of teachers and first-year residents of the 144th group of the specialty "Pediatrics".

The aim of the school was to inform parents and patients about proper rehabilitation after treatment in a pulmonology hospital. The lecture for parents and children was given by Associate Professor of the Department, PhD in Medicine, Associate Professor Galina Chekhovich. She spoke in detail about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, paying attention to proper nutrition, hygiene and daily routine for the successful restoration of a child's health.

One of the key parts of the event was the practical part, where the department residents held a master class on breathing exercises. The exercises were presented in a game form, which allowed to captivate children and demonstrate the effectiveness of gymnastics. Special sets of exercises were offered, adapted for children of different age groups.

The school ended with an active dialogue with parents, who received answers to their questions related to rehabilitation, prevention of respiratory diseases and maintaining children's health.

The department's initiative was highly appreciated by the hospital administration, which expressed gratitude for the professional approach and significant contribution to educational and health work.
