On April 14, 2025, the traditional Young Scientists Forum was held at Astana Medical University, dedicated to the Science Days.
The forum brought together students, master’s and doctoral students, and residents not only from Kazakhstan but also from other countries. Young scientists presented the results of their research, gave presentations, and discussed current issues in medicine.
The event began with an award ceremony, after which the participants continued their work within specialized sections.
The forum was opened by Vitaliy Koikov, Vice-Rector of Astana Medical University. In his welcome speech, he noted that in recent years, the university’s scientific publications have significantly increased and emphasized the importance of student involvement in real scientific activity.
— Science is inextricably linked to practical healthcare. For a future doctor, it is particularly important to be able to analyze scientific literature, use evidence-based sources, participate in research, and reflect on their own medical practice and publish the results. All of this is the foundation of professional growth, — emphasized Vitaliy Koikov.
The forum took place across several university platforms — in lecture halls and clinical bases. It became not just a scientific meeting but a real growth point for those just beginning their journey in science. The forum once again proved that modern medicine has a young and ambitious face.
