Rosa Adyrakova, an instructor at the Department of Eye Diseases at Astana Medical University, became an international classifier at the Blind and Visually Impaired Sambo Championship in Tashkent. As part of the Continental Championship for Asia and Oceania in Sambo for blind and visually impaired athletes, she conducted training for ophthalmologist trainees on the international classification system for assessing vision in athletes.

It is worth noting that in 2023, the first championship for athletes with visual impairments was held in Astana, and the tournament in Tashkent became a continuation of efforts to develop inclusive sports. The training conducted by Rosa Adyrakova helps to train qualified specialists who can accurately assess the degree of vision impairment in athletes and ensure their fair participation in competitions.

Rosa Adyrakova is the only certified international sambo classifier for the blind in Kazakhstan. Her work contributes not only to the development of professional skills among specialists but also to creating equal opportunities for Kazakhstani para-athletes in international tournaments.
