The Summer School of Radiology for students of medical universities across Kazakhstan was held at the Research Institute of Radiology named after Academician Zh.Kh. Khamzabayev.
Among the participants were 5th-year students of the Faculty of General Medicine of Astana Medical University, Moldir Mambeeva and Arman Nuraev. Over the course of two weeks, they underwent intensive training aimed at deepening their knowledge in the field of radiological diagnostics.
The program included both theoretical and practical sessions: clinical analysis of radiographic and tomographic cases, work with image archives, and training in the interpretation of diagnostic studies. Special attention was given to modern imaging techniques – computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
The educational process was supervised by leading specialists of the institute. Students actively engaged in discussions, demonstrating a high level of preparation and a strong interest in professional development.
Participation in the Summer School became an important milestone in the development of clinical thinking and the consolidation of practical skills in the field of radiology. The knowledge gained broadened student’s understanding of the role of imaging methods in modern medicine and provided insights into the diagnostic process through the lens of advanced technologies.
