Ayan Mysayev, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation of Astana Medical University, took part in the 18th Pujiang Innovation Forum (PIF) held in Shanghai, as well as in the Liaoning Sub-Forum and the Conference on Technological Cooperation and Exchange in Northeast Asia, which took place on September 25–26, 2025, in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.

The Pujiang Innovation Forum is one of the leading international platforms bringing together representatives of science, education, business, and government institutions. The forum serves as a venue for discussing global trends in science and technology development, exploring new forms of partnership, and promoting innovative solutions.

Within the framework of the Liaoning Sub-Forum, Ayan Mysayev held a series of meetings with representatives of Chinese universities, research institutes, and technology parks.

During the discussions, the parties explored opportunities for cooperation in the fields of medical technology, bioengineering, and digital healthcare solutions, as well as prospects for joint research and the exchange of practical experience in medical innovation.

The participation of Astana Medical University in the forum’s events marked another step toward strengthening its international standing, expanding its network of strategic partners in East Asia, and promoting Kazakhstan’s medical science on a global scale.

The Pujiang Innovation Forum and the Liaoning Sub-Forum served as an important platform for strengthening scientific and educational ties between Kazakhstan and China, opening new opportunities for joint initiatives in medicine, science, and technology.
