Kazakhstani researchers presented their scientific findings at the major European congress ESICM LIVES 2025
ESICM is one of the key global events in the field of intensive care and rehabilitation. The congress program included more than 2,000 lectures, presentations, discussions, round tables, and training sessions with the participation of over 250 leading international experts.
The Kazakhstani researchers presented the findings of the project “The course of acute respiratory failure in geriatric patients with hip fracture using different modes of a vibroacoustic device for the lungs” (Grant No.AP25795127). Their poster presentation was showcased alongside studies from European countries, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and South Africa, eliciting significant interest from the professional community.
Following the congress, the abstract of the study will be published in Intensive Care Medicine Experimental (Q1, Scopus) under the title: “Use of vibroacoustic therapy in geriatric patients with respiratory pathology after orthopedic surgery on the lower extremities: A retrospective analysis”.
According to the Kazakhstani researchers, participation in ESICM LIVES 2025 represents an important step toward strengthening international collaboration and promoting national scientific developments.
