Visit of the External Expert Commission of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR)
The EEC was chaired by an international expert, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Education of the Omsk State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Andrey Kolchin (Omsk, Russian Federation). The commission also included a foreign expert — Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Psychiatric Association, Oleg Skugarevsky (Minsk, Republic of Belarus).
The accreditation process was carried out with the participation of national experts and stakeholders: PhD, Senior Lecturer of the Public Health Department of the Medical University of Semey (MUS) Nazym Iskakova, and Karina Yandutkina, a master’s student of the “Public Health” educational program at Karaganda Medical University.
Over the course of three days, the experts evaluated the quality of the educational programs and held meetings with the faculty, students, alumni, and employers. The commission visited specialized departments, the simulation center, and the university’s practice bases, thoroughly studying all key aspects of the implementation of the master's programs.
