DEAR STUDENTS, GRADUATING 5 AND 7 YEARS OF THE SPECIALTY «GENERAL MEDICINE», YOUNG TEACHERS WHO WISH TO ENTER THE MASTER’S PROGRAM!
Selection is announced for master's studies at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Nagasaki University (Japan) within the framework of the Japanese government scholarship program in the specialization «Medicine of disasters and radiation exposure.» The studying period is 2 years.
Applicants for participation in the master's degree competition will have to undergo an intra-university selection based on a general assessment of application documents and an interview, after which a selection will be carried out by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) through testing and an interview.
PROGRAM CONDITION:
All expenses are covered by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) - including tuition, accommodation, stipend, visa costs and tickets. The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is a bilateral development agency fully funded by the Government of Japan as the executive branch of Japanese Official Development Assistance.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION:
1.no academic debt;
2.absence of disciplinary sanctions;
3.GPA - 3.2 (according to transcript)
4.presence of prizes in international and republican Olympiads/conferences (preferable);
5. proficiency in a foreign language of instruction not lower than level B2 (upper-intermediate), which is confirmed by the presence of valid international certificates (IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 60-78) or a certificate/certificate of foreign language proficiency level issued by an educational organization.
6. Candidates must not be pursuing or planning to study in another program.

Program overview:
«Radiation Health Effects II» In this course, students will understand the acute and chronic radiation effects on human body based on the knowledge acquired in Japan
«Radiation Protection II» Learning about scientific and ethical foundations of the radiological protection system and the implementation of its basic principles to existing, planned and emergency exposure situations, based on the knowledge acquired in Japan.
«Radiation Emergency Medicine II» his course will provide students with the necessary knowledge and overviews of the concepts of «radiation protection,» «preventing the contamination sprea» and «radiation health effects» based on experience in Japan.
«Advanced Emergency Medicine II» In this course, Japanese emergency medicine will be explained and practiced in detail.
«Advanced Risk Communication and Management Training»
