From April 20 to 24, 2026, NJSC “Astana Medical University” invites Professor, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Postdoctoral Researcher Nasrullah Jan, representing The First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University, Xiamen, China, as an international visiting specialist.

Brief information about the professor:
· PhD in Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
· Professional experience: Postdoctoral Researcher (2024–present), Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator (2021–2024), Lecturer in Pharmacy (2017–2020).
· Research interests: pharmaceutical nanotechnology, polymeric and membrane-coated nanoparticles, cancer immunotherapy, autoimmune diseases, targeted drug delivery.
· Author of more than 28 publications in leading international journals, 2 monographs, contributor to the development of innovative drug delivery systems.
· Editorial board member and reviewer of international scientific journals in pharmacy and nanotechnology.

- Bachelor: “Solutions of high molecular weight compounds. Technological features. Colloidal solutions, suspensions, and emulsions” – 3 hours
- Master, PhD, Faculty: “Passive vs active targeting. Stimuli-responsive drug delivery systems” – 3 hours
Day 3
- Bachelor: “Liniments: general and specific technology. Ointments: formulation bases, technology, quality assessment. Suppositories: preparation methods and specifics. Tablets: general rules. Injectable solutions. Isotonic and plasma-substituting solutions” – 3 hours
- Master, PhD, Faculty: “Formulation strategies for poorly soluble drugs (amorphous solid dispersions, crystalline hydrates)” – 3 hours

- Bachelor: “Quality assessment of injectable solutions. Infusions and decoctions. Technological stages and specifics (mucilages, alkaloids, tannins, saponins, essential oils)” – 3 hours
