Astana Medical University improved its performance in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2026, advancing from the 1501+ band in 2025 to the 1001–1500 band in 2026.
The University achieved its strongest result in SDG 3 “Good Health and Well-being,” ranking in the 101–200 band globally, compared to the 401–600 band in 2025.
The University also improved its performance in other Sustainable Development Goals:
- SDG 3 “Good Health and Well-being” – from 401–600 to 101–200;
- SDG 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth” – from 1001+ to 801–1000;
- SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions” – from 601–800 to 401–600;
- SDG 17 “Partnerships for the Goals” – from 1001–1500 to 601–800.
These results highlight the University’s continued commitment to excellence in medical education, research, healthcare, and sustainable development, while strengthening its international visibility and academic reputation.
