On July 15, 2026, Astana Medical University hosted one of the most significant events of the academic year—the ceremonial presentation of master’s degree diplomas to 55 graduates of the Department of Master's and Doctoral Studies. The graduates completed the following educational programs: 7M10104 Pharmacy, 7M10102 Medicine, 7M05101 Biology, 7M10112 Pharmacy, and 7M10113 Clinical Psychology.
This memorable day marked the successful completion of an important stage in the professional and academic development of young specialists who have dedicated themselves to the fields of medicine, pharmacy, biology, and clinical psychology.
The ceremony began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A welcoming address was delivered by Zarina Toktamysovna Shulgau, Vice-Rector for Research, who congratulated the graduates, their families, faculty members, and guests on this important milestone.
Words of encouragement were also shared by Marina Alekseevna Morenko, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of Pediatric Diseases No. 1, as well as Karlygash Askerovna Raisova, PhD, Head of the Academic Development Center at the National Research Medical Center JSC.
The festive atmosphere was enhanced by musical performances from Talgat Allabirinov, laureate of international and national competitions and soloist of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre. He performed Nurgisa Tlendiev’s Öz Elim (“My Homeland”) and Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov’s My City.
The graduation ceremony is not only a celebration of academic achievement but also a symbol of the continuity of academic traditions, professional excellence, and commitment to the highest ideals of medical education.
