A delegation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan headed by the Minister of State for Federal Education and Vocational Training, Ms. Wajiha Qamar, paid an official visit to the University. The delegation also included the leadership of the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PAK-EEF).
The key event of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Astana Medical University and the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PAK-EEF). The document opens up new opportunities for long-term partnerships and the launch of joint projects in the field of higher medical education.
One of the first practical results of the cooperation will be the implementation of the PAK-EEF project in the field of nursing. It provides for the development of educational programs for the training of nurses, academic exchange, the involvement of foreign experts, the introduction of joint educational initiatives and the improvement of the human resources of the healthcare system.
The visit confirmed the mutual interest of Kazakhstan and Pakistan in expanding academic partnership, exchanging experience and training international medical specialists. It became the next step in the consistent development of international relations between Astana Medical University, which is already actively cooperating with leading educational and medical organizations in Pakistan.
