Today marks the 96th anniversary of the birth of Toregeldy Sharmanov - a scientist, physician and a man who dedicated his life to people’s health. The university that bears his name marked the occasion by opening an exhibition devoted to his life and career.

The exhibition offers an opportunity to learn more about the person behind the name. Although he is no longer with us, his ideas live on in the work of physicians, scientific research and the education of future healthcare professionals.
