From October 17 to 31, 2026, residents of the National Medical University named after Toregeldy Sharmanov completed a clinical internship at the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev in Baku, Azerbaijan, as part of the international academic mobility programme.

During the two-week internship, the residents gained insight into the organization of clinical activities at the host institution, explored approaches to disease diagnosis and treatment, and exchanged professional knowledge and experience with their Azerbaijani colleagues.

The internship provided participants with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge in their respective medical specialties, become familiar with international clinical practices, and gain valuable international experience.
