The work of the congress will be carried out in 5 directions:

1. Problems of teaching clinical pharmacology at medical universities in Kazakhstan.
2. Questions of rational and personalized pharmacotherapy in clinical medicine.
3. Chemotherapy drugs.
4. Pharmacotherapy and prevention of COVID-19.
5. Competition for young scientists.

On May 28, 2021, it is planned to hold a competition of young scientists for doctoral students, undergraduates, residents and interns on the topic: "Topical issues of clinical pharmacology".

Within the framework of the competition, it is planned to present oral reports and theses of young scientists studying in internship, residency, magistracy and doctoral studies at universities in Kazakhstan, the CIS and foreign countries. When submitting materials, it is necessary to additionally note the "Competition of young scientists".

The winners of the competition are awarded with diplomas. All participants in the competition are issued certificates.

It is necessary to provide the title of reports before May 15, 2021 to clin.pharmacolog@mail.ru.

Specialists under 35 are invited to participate in the competition for young scientists. Requirements for the report is in Appendix 1.

Abstracts are accepted until May 20, 2021 for publication in the Collection of Materials of the Congress. Please send to clin.pharmacolog@mail.ru. Requirements for publication in Appendix 2.

Appendix 1

Requirements for oral presentation at the competition of young scientists for doctoral students, undergraduates, residents and interns:

"Topical issues of clinical pharmacology"

Applicant Information:

1. Surname, name, patronymic;
2. Place of work / study (name of the university, department);
3. Phone;
4. E-mail;
5. Title of the report;
6. Scientific advisor (full name, academic degree and title);
7. Presentation time – 10 minutes, time for answering questions – 2 minutes.
8. Authors of oral reports must submit a presentation of the report in PowerPoint (pptx) format.
9. The presence of the following sections in the structure of the report:

• The relevance of research;
• Scientific novelty;
• Purpose and objectives of the study;
• Research results;
• Conclusions.

Appendix 2

Requirements for thesis preparation:

1. Publications in Kazakh, Russian and English languages ​​are accepted. It is necessary at the beginning of the thesis to indicate the data about the author (s), the title of the thesis, abstract and keywords (5-6 words are enough). DATA ABOUT THE AUTHOR, ABSTRACT, TITLE OF THE ABSTRACT AND KEYWORDS ARE PREPARED ONLY IN THE LANGUAGE IN WHICH THE TEXT OF THE ABSTRACT IS WRITTEN.
2. Abstracts are submitted in the form of computer text in A4 format, including tables, figures and graphs;
3. The volume of the abstract is no more than 400 characters (not including the title and authors)
4. The file must be read in MS WORD (* .doc, * .docx);
5. Sheet parameters: margins: top – 2 cm, bottom – 2 cm, left – 3 cm, right – 1 cm; font: Times New Roman, 14 pt; line spacing – 1;

The structure of the thesis: in lowercase letters (font: Times New Roman, 14 pt), on separate lines, first the initials and surname of the author (authors), organization, city and the name of the thesis are indicated; Request: DO NOT ADD ANY EXTRAORDINARY INFORMATION (NAME OF DEPARTMENT, ADDITIONAL POSITIONS OF SCIENTIFIC SUPERVISOR AND); the title of the thesis is printed in the middle of the line in capital letters (font Times New Roman, 14 pt., bold); after the title, the text of the thesis is printed and alignment to the width of the page (font Times New Roman, 14 pt, the length of the red line for the main text (indentation) – 1.25 cm), alignment to the width, WORD TRANSFERS TO THE NEXT LINE ARE PROHIBITED.
